Very cool! As mentioned above, its nice to see lingering fans for the series. Its my favorite game, and while I didn't expect it to reach disgaea levels of popularity, it'd be nice to see a larger fanbase.
Only thing I could criticize is the hair. I think you probably could have reduced the number of spikes, and made them a little less sharp. But its amazing regardess.
I need to weather out the sword as well. I think the amount of spikes is correct based on the pics I was working off of but I agree the shape isn't right. The costume is actually a few years old and I don't quite remember my thinking when I put it together. Even now my wig work is one of the weakest parts of my costuming.
Great to see another fan, and one that considers it as a favorite at that!
The sword I didn't really mention much, because in the game there are so many different swords and ash doen't really have a main "one". I think its fine.
And now that I look at it, I think you DO actually have the correct amount of spikes, but think the thinness of them threw me off. Don't get the wrong idea though, I've never done cosplaying or anything similar, so I have no knowledge of the difficulty of wigs.(though I'd assume they are difficult)
And no worries about the late reply, I barely get to visit DA myself haha.
I know what you mean. It's honestly a pretty good game among the Nippon Ichi games. We can only hope for more cameos in future games. Oh and did you know that Almaz from Disgaea 3 is almost a pallet swap of Ash in terms of design?
Yeah, seems like they are getting pretty lazy on character designs. In Disgaea 4 they don't even bother to tweak some of the designs, they just straight up use the same sprites and everything from the past games.
